Now that it has been suggested that some swans were flying around in circles around a church spire due to their navigation being affected by a mobile phone mast,

when the change over to digital tv comes into force,, surely it will have a negative effect on the birds navigation systems, and lead to some species demise. possible extinction,, and also the cycles of nature would have a roll on effect, if the birds start dying due to them not being able to navigate to breeding and feeding areas. the insects species will rise, so therefore the spread of some diseases will increase. the plants species will also suffer.

bit long winded, but iam sure the inteligent people here will get the drift..

Is it worth the disastrous effect, so we can watch propoganda news programs and the other rubbish that we must pay a licence for?

Or does the human species have no thought of its effects on the very planet its own survival depends upon also??

Technology is scary much in the same way as knowledge of any form is , and invisible energy in any form be it analogue, digital, microwave etc.. worries me greatly but I would find it hard living without it. pretty much like food and food additives, the environment much more besides.

All we can hope is that common sense is the way forward and truth prevail over greed certainly when it comes to knowledge sharing,, if companies using Microwave technology found out that this technology was harmful to life would they let that `knowledge` be made main stream and what if it takes genuinely x's of generations of human kind before we realised it was bad for life taking time and knowledge to find this out,, bit like smoking in the 50's

And as for the human Species we are just starting to develop and it takes us time before we all realise that we all have the same problems due to were we live, IE on a bubble in space.

Lets hope time takes humanity and knowledge in the right direction but with facts like peoples dieing for lack of food and clean water (and we have the technology and knowledge to do this) it's not going to happen soon , the only thing holding this back is greed for money.

Believe it or not there isn't enough information here to make
a realistic guess as to the outcome.

For example: what exactly happened to those swans. Did
they eventually fly on or did they die.
