In October 2006, the U.S. population reached 300 million. Is a population of this size sustainable in the long term? If not, what population size would be sustainable and why?

Yes, absolutely. The scientific evidence to back up anthropogenic global warming is so clear and easy to understand that I refuse to believe it. Instead, I prefer to believe we are incapable of having any effect whatsoever on the planet's ecosystem and its climate since we are made in God's image, and the children of God could never be capable of producing such disastrous effects.

Besides, there is some little region on Mars where the polar ice cap appears to be melting, so the conclusion must be made that this is due to increased solar irradiance affecting both planets, even though satellite recordings made over the past 25 years has shown no noticeable increase in the radiation from the sun.

I read this article on the news items listed before opening my email on 4/9/07. I'm very interested in reading all sides of the global warming issue as I'm not one to be swayed by all the media frenzy I'm enduring these days. I do know that the article said that this gentleman was very annoyed with all the media attention that this subject is receiving. He went on to say that global warming is a "cycle" that happens periodically. Interesting!

Im just asking if global warming or global cooling happens, where will it take effect. what places would be dangerous to stay in and what places would be good to stay in while global warming / cool is happening.

If either happens, how long will it last?

I know that warming / cooling may be fake for government and stuff to make money but it may be real.

The average smoker generates more carbon emissions from their cigarettes than their SUV's. Why do idiots let hypocrite tobacco growers like Al Gore tell us that us poor people need to consume less energy (meanwhile 1 of his 5 homes consumes more energy than a small town) and the Federal Government subsidized tobacco is not banned?

The more oxygen gas we produce on the earth's surface, the better it is for the ozone layer. what is it about the equation:

3o2 <---> 203

that favors producing more oxygen gas if you'd like to see the ozone layer hang around a few more centuries.

According to this equation:

3O2 <--hv, high E, incoming solar radiation-->2O3

one finds more stratospheric ozone at the equatorial regions, where avg stratospheric temp is higher than at the poles (wher there is a 'hole' in the ozone). is this surprising based on the above equation? why or why not?
