most people are so anti gas guzzling vehicles. but do those people ever stop and think about all of the pollution the hybrid car factory makes?

But those factories would be making that SAME pollution, no matter WHAT type of car they are making. Therefore, if they produce a hybrid car, at least the end result is better than if they produced a "gas guzzler".

No--because most people have the good sense to focus on the gas-guzzling cars that are a big part of the real problem. Auto factories, like any other factory, produce some pollution--but its a tiny amount compared to what even a few dozen of the gas hogs produce.
