We hear the term "green" everywhere and everyone seems to talk about it, among which are people and companies taking advantages to the "trend" or "fashion". What's green really mean to you?

The following is what I found in Wikipedia.org:

"Green is used to mean environmentally friendly. For example, green cars are vehicles that have extremely low emissions that are harmful to the environment. The different types of green cars include hybrid, electric, ethanol, biodiesel, natural gas, and high MPG gasoline cars. "

Heres something to think about. They probably did not have an equivalent of Al Gore.

Each molecule of methane has 21 times as much global warming potential as a molecule of CO2, and we already have cost-effective ways that farmers can cut livestock-emitted methane.
So what about this? And not even counting sheep and pigs and goats oh my.

If we have a power source, 24 hours a day that's slated to last at least a billion more years or so, why is this not our main source of energy?

Well since they want to tax carbon and some of it was just exhaled from my lungs. When it is enacted will residents of Hawaii ante up more since there is an active volcanoe there? And will they also ante up for a Sulpher Dioxide tax? How about a Carbon monoxide tax? a Hydrogen Sulfide tax? a Carbonyl Sulfide tax? a Carbon Disulfide tax? a Hydrogen Cloride tax? a Methane tax?

In this age of communication, how can we utilize and use the technology and by any other means to educate the people to keep their environment safe and clean . We have good educated people acting dumb and polluting their immediate sorrundings by littering the vacant plots , drains in front of their homes with their domestic garbage . How should the government enforce the environment protection and not to litter our cities towns and villages . How do we educate the common people to protect their immediate surroundings?

Collect it and make it into pencil leads that do not come sliding out of the pencil every time you sharpen it. Not that would be something constructive. Oooops Al Gore probably already has invested in this also. Think So?

There are moths in my kitchen. I have learned to catch them in mid air using rubber gloves. Sticky tape seems cruel because their death in this way is prolonged. Do I really have to throw out all the food I have in the pantry to get rid of them? What do their eggs look like? Any practical advice is welcome.

1. If the Ice Caps melt, will the Earth then find its natural temperature balance or will the Earth continue to heat?

2. If and I ask if... the convection remains (but altered in pattern and distribution) so that Earth does not lose water then if the same amount of water still exists on the planet then will the worst case scenario be that current population concentrations will need to locate to different locations?

3. Isn't the most major reason for Global Warming... over population and the fact that humans have no predators nor culling as other animal species do?

Every time any kind of weather happens, the media talks about global warming.
If there is a Hurricane, it's global warming.
or a Snow storm, it's global warming.
or a Tornado, it's global warming.
or a Tsunami, it's global warming.

So what is considered normal weather?
There have been snow storms and droughts of great and minor intensity recorded back thousands of years.
Were these caused by global warming also?

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has just released an extensive study (based on 29 000 different data sets most of which have been collected in the last 5 years) on climate change revealing the already extensive damage done to our ecosystems and highlighting the dramatic consequences which we will incure unless changes in our ways of life are done.

However, several governments (for example Saudi Arabia, the United States, and China) have actually interfered with the wording of the report to sometimes tone down the anticipated consequences of Global Warming or altogether remove a scientifically-assessed impact of the climate change. I am curious to know what factors or elements would motivate the governments in acting this way (something that could be considered flagrant scientific censure) and potentially jeopardize an increased conscientization of the public towards dangers that are often already affecting our lives in a negative manner.
