Yes and we should try to stop the earth from spinning and stop the tides too. This will reduce the daily flooding of low lying areas and negate sea level rise. We all win. yay for the global warmers we have the solutions, we will survive.

What does plate tectonics have to do with global warming? It's all a matter of time scale. Global warming is an immediate threat. Plate tectonics just keeps on building mountains, splitting sea floors, ...

Plate tectonics arent to be messed with. They happen because the earth releases of steam and other gases from its insides. This helps in lowering of the pressure that builds inside the earth's core. If you try to stop the movements of the plates there would be no possibility of the earth being able to do this.
Anyways controlling or stopping plate tectonics is impossible.

How in the world could we stop plate tectonics? You have whole continents pushing against whole continents. I'm hoping you are joking and making fun of the gloal warming alarmists. Please tell me you are, because stopping global warning is just about as impossible.

For those who don't get it.. the point ( at least to me ) is that we can't control either.
