Generated wind power? Do you mean made electricity from wind power or used wind power to do other things, like milling?
The first wind turbine used to generate electricity, was made using an old wooden windmill. This was in Denmark by a guy named Paul le Cour over 100 years ago.
But centurys before that the Dutch and other European communitities were using wind power to grind grain and pump water.
