What do you think would happen to the environment if humans suddenly disappear from the surface of the Earth?

The question says it all. Do you think there would be change anywhere (environment, ecosystem, food chain etc.)?
This question was on my mind since I first heard of global warming and climate change. It seems to me that humans do nothing but ruin the environment. I would like to see if anyone agrees or disagrees with me. Please think carefully before answering. Everyone is welcome to express their opinions.

how to save energy on a large scale?

i need six ideas to save energy on a large scale

i have
compact fluorescent light bulbs
proper insulation(save on heating/cooling)
don't leave appliances on standby
fill in the pool or get a really good pool pump
maintain appliances in your home to make sure they are at peak efficiency

and i need one more please help!

do you think that 4 the sake of our planet the gov should just make us go green(cold turkey)?...i do?

do things like ban the making of nemore of the vehicles we have now or make power companies switch to cleaner methods.make public transportation mandetory unless you have a good reason. i think they shouldnt let kids drive to school unless the have a NEED 2. kids should take the bus.we'd all like the traffic better.and so on

Why are people saying on message boards and elsewere that our species is destroying our homeplanet?

by pollution,global warming,and cutting down trees but there are people out there that fight to preserve nature and plant and animal life. Should there be a limit imposed on how many children people are allowed to have?
