Some heat is lost. This is the thermal energy stored within the spacecraft. But the amount is so tiny compared to the amount of heat radiated away from the earth all the time as infrared light that it is insignificant to the overall temperature of the Earth.

(The earth is kept at a fairly constant temperature by the radiation of the sun warming the Earth during the day)
