I believe the Earth is expanding as it gets closer to the Sun, which explains why Antarctica and the North Pole caps are melting. Millions of years ago the Earth was just solid rock and it expanded into a vass mass of water.

Explain more to me and don't refer me to any wikipedia encyclopedia. Don't tell me the effects of Global Warming.

Tell me in your own words in how the World will cease to exist.

There are four plants: Green Bean, butter bean, rye grass and a sunflower. These plants grow rather quickly. The green bean plant is placed under white light and is used as the control. The butter bean is placed under green light, the rye grass plant under red light and the sunflower under blue light. All the plants are watered one cup of water ever other day and kept under the light the same amount of time. At the end of 4 weeks, the sunflower plant grows the most. What is wrong with this experiment? Explain.

I need help writing a letter to send to General Motors about their Hummer and other big SUVs. I would ideally like to mention points about how they are increasing global Warming, making us more dependent on mideast nations for oil imports, helping fund terrorism, the Iraq war and peak oil.. I'd like to send it to the heads of General Motors and the Hummer dealerships across America. Thanks!

Does global warming really have anything to do with greenhouse emissions, or are fluctuations in the earth's temperature caused by nothing more than variations in the sun's energy output, which are natural cycles that have been going on for hundreds of millions of years ? Think about times in earth's history when it has experienced more tropical conditions, likewise, iceages. These natural cycles had NOTHING to do with humans ( who were not around then ) , no matter what Al Gore says !

In 2006 Al Gore's home in Tenn. used 191,000 kilowatt hours ( monthly bill averaged $1,200) when the average home in that area only used 15,600 kilowatt hours. For someone that is so certain that we are all screwed if we don't drastically cut our use of energy he sure seems to not care when it comes to his own life. Mabey he doesn't actually believe what he preaches. He has made millions from his movie telling you to change your life so drasticlly that you would end up living like a cave man. All the while he's getting driven around in a Limo and using more energy at his home than 12 average homes. How about practicing what you preach. Even if he knows everything he says is crap ( wich he does ) you would think he would still attempt to limit his share of green house emmitions to playcate his followers if nothing else. I think I know what Al Gore is full of. Global bull@#$#.

If I remember correctly from my biology classes, whenever animals exhale, they are exhaling carbon dioxide. With over six billion humans, and how many billions of other animals on the planet, how much of the carbon dioxide being spewed into the environment is the result of simple breathing? Do we all need to start holding our breaths?

And along the same lines, I also remember hearing that plants require carbon dioxide to live. So if we do hold our breaths and are able to eliminate other sources of carbon dioxide emissions, how are the plants going to live?
