Just wondering what you think. I mean, that's a pretty big carbon footprint, don't you think?

When we produce energy by using fossil fuels (OIL, gas etc.) a GREAT amount of CO2 is released into the atmosphere. A big amount of CO2 happens to keep the warmth better in the Earth. The dilemma is that CO2 should also let less sunlight (= warmth) to Earth. But scientists have counted that these things actually make the Earth a warmer place. I have read questions and answers here and I am seriously concerned, because general opinion seems to be that global warming is an evil plot.

The cost calculator is on BP & Mitsubishi. 3-4 years was not stated, plus I would save 20% per year which would take 20+ yrs.to pay for it cuz thy're $40,000.
The Worlds Fair in Knoxville TN 198? was all about Green they had everything on solar panel, electric cars, hydro stuff, it was cool and the future was near. Cost effective, savings, good for the Earth. All this was supposed to happen within10 years. For a HS kid I paid attention. Crap! No one will make any real money and there's probably no underhanded controversy to make it worth while to the pigs. It's all about oil, money and greed. No one truly wants to save the planet. They want to win Oscars.

insist on denying the fact that there is NO link between any sort of "Global Warming" and mankind, whatsoever? And why, when your poster boy for Global Warming hysteria, Al Gore is caught being an energy user beyond what any normal American could ever be, do you defend him? Why are you so willing to sell your rights down the river to poor science and hokey documentaries?

After bringing Global warming concerns to the CEO of the company I work for, I was asked to meet with the head of HR to come up with some ideas on what we can do to become green certified. I am so very excited that I am being included in this process, and I want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

What are some ideas we can implement at a corporate level? We have to meet OSHA standards, so that has to be taken into account too.

The company employs over 1000 people, has offices worldwide, and deals with educational software. We already have moved towards being paperless, although there are some who refuse to keep electronic records and notes.

I have never worried about recycling because I always figered that trash rotted away but a friend of mine told me that trash I threw away 10 years ago is still in the landfill. I guess I need to start to take the time out to recycle.

It seems that as many people say it is happening as those that do not. For example one side of Antartica the ice is melting while the other side is growing.

What are your thoughts ?
