Methane Hydrate?

I'm looking for companies that I can buy stock in that develope fuels from this. Know of any? Thx

I don't think ways have yet been found to release methane from hydrate formations underground http://www.bp.com/genericarticle.do?categoryId=2012968&contentId=7028944
If it forms in pipelines or other equipment it can be difficult to get rid of and can restrict/block flow with large lumps of ice like material. Glycol or methanol can be used to control it as they depress the temperature at which it forms.
