Pollution, litter, all of these kinds of things are eating away at our earth!
Pollution is taring apart our ozone layer cause sunburn, which causes cancer. we need to think of ways to prevent this!
Another thing is littering, the more people litter the more animals die! Just think there are over a million people in just New York City. If Everyone picks up a piece of trash once a day for a week, there will be a at least a billion less pieces of garbage laying around in this world.

If you have ideas to help our Earth from pollution and littering please tell me!

Thankyou.............and think.

As a lot of people point out on here, yes, the Earth has gone through periods of fluctuating temperatures.
But what about the fact that the fossil fuels we burn today would have remained dormant in the Earth for tens of millions of years before weathering would have exposed it to the atmosphere were it not due to human intervention?
Surely the dramatic rise in CO2 through the burning of these fuels compared to how things would be if the planet were as "nature intended" is a cause for concern for everyone, although I don't consider myself to be an environmental fanatic, I also don't consider myself naive to the facts.

I have only seen this commercial once and it starts off with a woman's voice.. and it goes
What is the meaning of life....... ______..... _____...

and then it shows pictures of animals and nature...

and then it says the meaning of life is to help all the animals on earth... etc.. things that can take care of it self... catch my drift?
it was some commerical about protecting the environment & nature i guess.

Does anybody know what the commercial was for?

All over the world we have been shown the results of a number of ice-ages that have disappeared because of global warming. what caused the global warming back then? I doubt if it was caused by humans in any shape or form. Scaremongering is raisng its ugly head and we are starting to give it too much credence.

I was just wondering what everyone thought about global warming in relation to the problems we have today. I know that global warming is real, etc. but I was curious as to how it is viewed in relation to say... dying kids in Africa. (10 million children under the age of 5 die in Africa each year right now) so how many kids under 5 will die in global warming? All of them? Do you think that some fanatic global warming activists have lost perspective on current issues? I realize that something needs to be done about global warming but isn't it hypocritical of them (who are sooo worried about humanity's future) to turn a blind eye to what is happening right now and focus on a possible scenario that may happen sometime in the future? I don't really have an opinion on this issue it was just raised and I was wondering what you thought. Please don't be mean.

Estimates range from 0.01% to 0.1%. If there is a 10 fold variance in the CO2 content how can we acurately measure changes in those levels around the globe?
Also how much of this is created by "natural" processes (non-industry)?
