the earth left behind by earth worms is by far the best soil for plant growth

if you create the environment they need you will get them in your garden, all you do is mulch the earth with leaves
and the soilsbeneath retains its moisture ,and temperature as well as being protected from dryoing out by the Sun and then being blown away by the wind
the more earth worms you have ,the better the soil

their up and down movements airate the soil ,making it fluffy and soft

many people are now creating earth worms and earthworm organic fertilizer

They turn organic matter into fertilizer. Worm casting (poop) is some of the best stuff on earth for growing plants in.

BTW - spraying your lawn and garden with chemicals ain't good for worms.
