Any one know An INTERESTING endangered species that most people have never even heard of?

Its For a report & i wanted to something that was really cool That's not common. Any Ideas?. Thank you.

Walruses (very common, but awesome.) Okapis are African animals that have zebra stripes on the hindquarters, longish brown necks, and heads sort of like giraffes. I believe they are endangered, but check.
