What is one thing every person can do to help slow global warming? If we all do just ONE thing, wouldn't that help overall? The more we do, the better the result, right?

What can we do, as people of the world, that will help eliminate global warming.....is there really anything we can do individually?

If you can't plant trees, how many houseplants will you raise? Global warming can only be stopped and reversed by increasing vegetation. What you do might be insignificant, but every little bit helps.

Yes, I've committed to starting trees (I have no land to plant them on). I'll be handing them out to folks who are committed to raising them.

cost of electricity is 7p/KWh.. er 70/MWh.. and the total demand fer electrcity is 135,000 MWh,, so do i times 70 by 135000

When purchasing electricity it comes from two sources- NIE and ESB, when INVISTA purchases electricity it takes into consideration the cost of it, it depends which source is providing more for less, this is called an open market, and in 2006/07 case it was the ESB source that INVISTA decided to use.
The total demand for electricity would be 135,000 MWH, as the cost of one unit of electricity is £70 Per MHW, this would therefore be......

So would i x 70 by 135,000?

The properties of biodiesel are promising because of its low sulfur content and the higher flashpoint for better storage or handling. They also say that there is no need for engine modification in using pure biodiesel. However if this means that there is higher flashpoint doesn't it mean that it requires more heat before it can be ignited so it means engines may be needed to be modified to use biodiesel? I want to know the proof and facts that biodiesel can be used in engines without modification please!

There are reports that next year will be the warmest ever due to glaobal warming issues. However, given the constraints that individuals (employees and consumers) in advanced economic countries are under on a daily basis, how realistic is it to be able to embrace the 'green' options we are given? Is the green issue and initiative being used more as a tool for governments to increase taxation and should we be accepting the changing climate as part of the human race and planet earths evolution and adapting and preparing for it?

According to the GEORGIA GUIDESTONES, around 90% of the earth's population must be eliminated. Thanks to modern technology, and a trusting public, this may now be easier than was ever before possible. How do you think we will be disposed of, as a society?

Because of the constant rising of petroleum fuel, drivers in our country opted to convert their pertoleum cars and vehicles to LPG running engines. How much damage can it make to the environment and specially to the health of the people.
