cost of electricity is 7p/KWh.. er 70/MWh.. and the total demand fer electrcity is 135,000 MWh,, so do i times 70 by 135000

When purchasing electricity it comes from two sources- NIE and ESB, when INVISTA purchases electricity it takes into consideration the cost of it, it depends which source is providing more for less, this is called an open market, and in 2006/07 case it was the ESB source that INVISTA decided to use.
The total demand for electricity would be 135,000 MWH, as the cost of one unit of electricity is £70 Per MHW, this would therefore be......


So would i x 70 by 135,000?

It would seem that you are correct based on what you state, except in your last para. - a UNIT is still 7p. £70.00 per 1000 Kwh. (= 1 Mwh)
