If you can't plant trees, how many houseplants will you raise? Global warming can only be stopped and reversed by increasing vegetation. What you do might be insignificant, but every little bit helps.

Yes, I've committed to starting trees (I have no land to plant them on). I'll be handing them out to folks who are committed to raising them.

It is absolutely proven than GHG is 30% higher now than 50 years ago (not 100). And it is absolutely proven that is the highest in the last 650 000 years. That denial is out of fashion. It is as easy as to buy a sensor (around 250 US$) and we can check by ourselves what the air that we breathe contains.

About algae. Most species have already disappeared, and the more fresh water oceans and seas contain, more will disappear. That is the primarily reason because ocean life is disappearing, the basic food (algae) dies. Why? because climate is changing and they cann t adapt so fast. Algae, for good and for bad, are extremely sensitive to their environment because they cann t run (as animals do) where environment is better for them.

What people say now is that a) it is a natural event, God or nature will reverse it by themselves or b) CO2 is very good for plants (they never cite the rest of GH gases)

Although we must do and applaud individual activities, even if all citizens in this world would rise a tree, we would not solve the climate change. 6 billions of trees are not enough. All savings of energy we can do at home are not enough.

We, at work, decide the comsumption of 20 times the amount of energy that we do at leisure. When we buy something we also buy manufacturing and transportation emissions.

We all must change the way on how items are manufactured and transported because that is the true problem.

Only governments can do that. And most governments are doing it already (at least some steps).

That is a step in the right direction. The CO2 is not a problem as the plants have taken care of the problem. The hype that CO2 has increased 30% is not true. If u don't believe me go measure it. The CO2 also accelerates the plant growth. All plants down to algae. N.A.S.A. was considering algae for the long trips.

I am useless with plants, totally useless, they always die, no matter what I do. I can't plant a tree as I have no garden, will it count if I give my mum a plant and she can grow it for me?
