Is it cyclical or man-made? Will we a warmer world be better or worse for us?

In order to get an objective view of what's really happening to our temperatures, one must look at temperature charts from as far back as possible. Below is a link taking you to a NASA chart showing the temperature change from 1880 to 2005. As you can see this chart shows both yearly mean temps. as well as 5 year mean temps. Since 1880 the earth's temperature has risen less than 7/10 of 1 degree C. See for yourself here:

The fact that people choose to ignore the facts of these charts shows that they have an agenda to convince the masses of something that really is not happening. I'm not sure why they want to deceive those that fall for it, but the fact is they do want to do that.

A review of more than 240 scientific studies has shown that today's temperatures are neither the warmest over the past millennium, nor are they producing the most extreme weather - in stark contrast to the claims of the environmentalists.
The review, carried out by a team from Harvard University, examined the findings of studies of so-called "temperature proxies" such as tree rings, ice cores and historical accounts which allow scientists to estimate temperatures prevailing at sites around the world.

The findings prove that the world experienced a Medieval Warm Period between the ninth and 14th centuries with global temperatures significantly higher even than today."

Global warming is real -- man made or a natural cycle -- either way it is real.

Just take a look at the open water in the northern Canada. The northwest passage is now open to allow travel by boat over the top of Canada. Soon we will have container ships using that route from China to NYC.

Global warming is a natural cycle, but this cycle is different. The world is warming much faster and the cause of the increased rate is clearly human behavior.
The arctic tundra is melting. Look at a world map and see how vast that area is. Then consider this: absolutely immense amounts of methane are frozen in that tundra in what's known as "permafrost". As the permafrost thaws, it releases methane. That increases the greenhouse effect - and there's enough methane trapped there that it's release will irreversibly accelerate global warming past anything we're remotely ready for. Worst of all, methane is poisonous, and there's enough of it frozen in the permafrost in that tundra to kill every oxygen-breathing living thing on the planet. That includes you and me, babe - and it may already be too late!

Both. There's a natural greenhouse effect that keeps the planet warm and able to produce life, but we humans are pushing it more. The results: will be worse. As the world heats up the glaciers will melt, and then coastal places such as Flordia, WILL BE SUBMERGED In fact, India just lost an island due to global warming (you can check that out on my question) There will be droughts, extinctions, hunger, diseases... people will die.

It is not man made. First they wanted u to believe that CO2 had increased 30% but it had not because of the plants need the CO2. That was a lie to deceive u into thinking that we were using more oil than we should . Sense there is no CO2 problem and it is good for the plants why not do what u want to.

Global warming would happen with or without humans. We simply accelerate, it is a cycle that will happen. I think it was in the Matrix that the "Agent" said humanity is a virus and technically we are. We consume every natural resource that we are near and destroy almost everything we come into contact with.

Actually, global warming is naturally cyclic. If we human were not there...IT WOULD STILL HAPPEN..
BUT, our extensive exploitations have simply ACCELERATED the normal lobal warming rates.

nature and man-made causes global warming. it is not good to have this situation. there will be an increase in skin cancer, there will be less moisture in the atmosphere and there will be more lightning and thunderstorms.
