If you drive a car go slower on the highway (55-60), properly inflate your car tires, use energy saving light bulbs, keep your thermostat at 65 when you are not home and lower than you normally do when you are home, turn off lights/the TV when they are not in use, and do a web search to come up with others.
All of these will also save you money.
ETA: I disagree with iraqisax, we do cause climate change. Volcanoes do as well but it is fairly obviouse looking at the data (the actual papers not a TV special, though it helps too for laymen) that humans have caused the Earth's climate to change over the years.

There is nothing that we could do to change the earths climate, even if we tried. It's kind of like a flea on a dog, worrying that if all the fleas got on one side of the dog, he would tip over. That's how insignificant we are, climatically speaking.
The vast majority of air pollution is of volcanic origin. Man made pollution becomes a problem when it concentrates in certain areas. Nature, like the free market, is self correcting. Nothing lasts forever. All pollution breaks down.
This doesn't mean that we should pollute with impunity, it just means that all you have heard about global warming, the "hole" in the ozone layer and greenhouse gasses, is exaggeration. It is being utilized for political purposes. Some scientists have figured that if their research "proves" any of these calamities, they are likely to qualify for some type of grant. Sad to say, science is for sale in this country.

Vote for someone who will reduce emissions. Only governments can solve this problem. But, i you don t want to enter into politics...
Buy items than are ecologically manufactured and transported in a "green" way (no emissions during its manufacturing nor during its transportation). If we all do that, the problem would be solved, (doesn t matter what we would do at home)
But of course, the more we do the better for the planet and for us
