I have never seen anything besides food that grows mold, are there any other things that do grow it that are not food that you would find around your house?

This tax and ALL the revenues generated would be used to supply tax credits and incentives for all individuals to offset the costs of installing solar panels and systems, wind generators, super insulation, and the purchase of hybrid cars/vehicles

I am a student doing a project on fabric dyes, both natural and chemical, and was wondering if anyone knows of any useful websites for these topics? I am specifically looking at the harm caused to the environment by synthetic dyes, thanks!

There are so many cleaner alternatives now available to petrol. But which will be the petrol of the future? We must select one soon to avoid global warming. And whether you believe in global warming or not, surely you must agree that it would be prudent to start using clean fuels anyway.

I think it should be hydrogen, because the only waste product is water. What do you think, and why?

As reported in BBC News on 11-2-06, many scientists now believe that at the current rate of loss of sea life, the ocean's sea life will be mostly extinct within fifty years due to global warming, over fishing, etc. If this is true, it could have huge impacts on life as we know it.

Howdy.. I recently moved to the country.... out here we have to take our garbage to the dump - sadly there is no recycle facility - we do have the option of burning our paper garbage though.... so I am asking is it more environmentally friendly to BURN our paper or should we take it to the dump too???

(concerned with global warming etc...)

I mean, that gas that they burn off could bring them more revenues, and also help alleviate the shortage of fossil fuels? Or is it done to keep the supply from going up and prices from going down as a result?

Three part survey -- please only honest answers? Yes or no, why or why not.

Please don't answer if you already answered this question. This is a running survey. Thanks!

1. Are you concerned about depleting the planet of fossil fuels and the connected problems of pollution, environmental degradation, resource wars, etc?
2. Is switching to a renewable source of power for your home in your plans within the next 5 years?
3. Would you switch to solar power (PV panels) if you didn't have to pay any more than what you now pay for electricity and you had no investment, installation or maintenance cost?

Please stop saying its a hoax. Its really not that complicated! Greenhouse gases make the earth warmer...thus more green house gases make the earth warmer....Jeez!! Look at the polar ice caps and antartica...its freaking melting...so you skeptics just want to stay in your little happy ignorant world so you don't have to face the facts...thats really sad for the rest of us who are trying to do something about it..instead of ignoring it.
