The Ozone Layer is a region in the Earth's stratosphere that contains relatively high levels of Ozone (O3). This protective layer absorbs most of the harmful skin cancer causing UV-B rays that strike it, lower levels of Ozone mean more dangerous UV-B rays pass through.
O3 is produced constantly as UV rays hit oxygen molecule's (O2) forming the unstable O3 (Ozone) molecule, which when sub sequentially stuck by another UV ray reverts back to Oxygen (O2), a process called the ozone-oxygen cycle. This cycle means a near constant level of Ozone due to its continual creation and destruction.
The problem of Ozone depletion is caused when man-made Chlorofluorocarbons (CFC's) and Hydrofluorocarbons (HFC's) are released into the stratosphere, these chemicals are very stable and capable of destroying up to 10,000 Ozone molecules each. This leads to an imbalance in the Ozone-Oxygen cyle allowing more dangerous UV-B rays to penetrate this protective layer.

The problem of Global Warming relates to the production of green house gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4), when released into the atmosphere these gases remain for over 100 years. Green House gases are produced by the burning of fossil fuels (Coal, Oil), burning wood, peat and a variety of other sources. The build up of these gases means more heat is trapped by the atmosphere gradually increasing the ambient temperature of the Earth. This causes a whole raft of problems, effecting all living things on the planet, including melting of the ice caps, rising sea levels and temperatures, changing weather patterns, increasing floods, droughts, tornadoes and cyclones etc.

Global warming is a cause of thickening of the ozone layer. when sun rays pass through the atmosphere, some hit the ground and are absorbed while others are reflected out of the atmosphere. this equal amount of absorbed and reflected sunlight ensures that the earth's temperature is constant. As we (humans) start producing pollution and green house gasses (CO2), we thicken our atmosphere. this thickening prevents the reflected sunlights to go back out of the atmosphere. Hence, all sun rays are trapped inside the earth and earth's overall temperature increases.

In addition, the current hole inside the ozone layer allows more sunlight to enter the earth and this also contributes to the cause of global warming.

Therefore, global warming and ozone layer are connected in a sense that one's thickening and condition leads to the other.

The problem with the ozone layer is a hole that is allowing radiation in. We have done something about this by limiting certain chemicals.

The problem with global warming is that gasses in the atmosphere are trapping heat, like the glass roof of a greenhouse. So, you can see how they are two different issues.

global warming has to do with CO2 filling the air and causing a greenhouse affect...while the ozone layer lets in harmful rays of the sun that can cause skin diseases.

There is no global warming. The whole thing is a fraud. There is climate variations that are natural for the earth.
