I am a student doing a project on fabric dyes, both natural and chemical, and was wondering if anyone knows of any useful websites for these topics? I am specifically looking at the harm caused to the environment by synthetic dyes, thanks!

You may want to check out the Howies or Patagonia clothing companies as they are both environmentally minded and have done a lot of work to combat pollution from their clothing manufacturing processes. I found lots of interesting information for one of my environmental projects on their websites.

so if this is happening with cinnamon and vanilla I am sure that the dye is also polluting our system
