I am a Junior in high school, and am interested in Philosophy, but I don't get to talk about it at all because almost no other students care and it is not taught by the school? Any ideas?

well yesterday one of my friends came up to me saying that theres this one dude talking mess about me and i was like who show me , but it was too late i would have missed my bus so this morning i didnt forget but i got off the bus with my friend when he yelled ey watch out and all of a sudden this dude comes at me and punches me in the face so then we started fighting and alot of people crouded around me and him because we were fighting on the ground and i punches him real hard in his face and i gave him a bloody nose then i kicked his face and people were like ohhh!!!! he just laid there grabbing his face so i walked off and then the princeable grabbed me and yanked me into his officce i aint gonna get into that detail but was i right to have done that i mean the ***** hit me out of nowhere and i dont care who you are if your gonna cheap shot me then its on we going down boxing and everything BUT NOW I HAVE TO GO TO JUVIE for 2 MONTHS i really am sRRy!!!!!! but i have to its my fault

Being 14, i'm in school and like every other kid in school, I complain like hell about homework and teachers to my parents. But every time I even begin to give out about one thing or another, the only answer I seem to get is "your school days are the best days of your life." Now fair enough if its true, but is it? Is it the truth or just a myth???

Read the story. A principal at a middle school in Chicago has BANNED hugs because it "clogs the hallways and makes kids late to class"

OMG!!! What a horrible thing *GASP*. So i ask you, When is a Hug not a hug? Middle schoolers. Can't teach police it the simple way. If they think its too much, stop it or, Maybe just maybe, have an assembly or a notice or something???

this is retarded and this principal is about 6 bricks shy of a full load IF the story that is told is true.

I'm 15 (currently a high school sophomore) and have Complex Regional Pain Sydndrome/Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy in my right leg, and my biggest struggle right now is to maintain my schoolwork along with how bad my pain is. I have a 504 accomodations plan in place which helps, but any suggestions for keeping good grades even with my severe pain?

I want to go to either one for high school but I don't no which one and I wanna try to get in for 8th grade but I don't know if it would help me or not cause I'm top of my class and if i grad from my current school I get better but enter with an unfinished skl

But if I enter in 9th grade it will be harder to get use to the work ethic and all the things that they learned in 8th grade

I'm in the last year of high school, and I have always been pushed around by certain kinds of people. 2 weeks ago me and my friends were walking through the hallway when a gang of 5 kids approached us and pushed me, so I retaliated by pushing them back an throwing a punch, which triggered the gang to involve my friend into a fight. The fight attracted a crowd quite quickly and was discontinued when we were dragged off and reported. The gang who started the whole thing have given us trouble before (knocking drinks on the floor, pushing people into us etc..) Worse yet, the gang reported that they had never done any thing to us before and the whole thing was 'accidental', and that it was me who bullied them.
