A newspaper route can pay quite well depending on the size of the route and the tips you receive, but know that it can be a 7-days a weeks affair depending on how often your local paper prints. Also a point to check on is when the papers need to be on people's doorstep. When I delivered, the papers needed to be out no later than 6:00 a.m. Also, what will you do if you are ill? Will the job then fall to your parents? Questions to consider.

Doing odd jobs (lawn work, walking dogs, washing cars/windows, etc.) in the neighborhood, for people at your church, etc. is also a place to look. Unfortunately, you are still a bit young to be able to work for a company.

Do you have a recycling center in your town? If so, you can sign up people on a route of pickup - weekly, every other week, etc.

Babysitting is something young people have done through the ages for cash. A class at the Red Cross would be an added touch to let people know you are serious about their child's safety.

Hope this helps in your quest.

Try babysitting, or lawnmowing, or make up a flyer and list services that you will do, for example, house cleaning, walking the dogs, washing the car, and so on. Hope this helps and good luck.
