Read the story. A principal at a middle school in Chicago has BANNED hugs because it "clogs the hallways and makes kids late to class"

OMG!!! What a horrible thing *GASP*. So i ask you, When is a Hug not a hug? Middle schoolers. Can't teach police it the simple way. If they think its too much, stop it or, Maybe just maybe, have an assembly or a notice or something???

this is retarded and this principal is about 6 bricks shy of a full load IF the story that is told is true.

Jack of All Trades: If you mean by "controlling chaos", then I agree. I dont' see it as crowd control. As to reading to much into it, I can only read into it what i read. I do believe there is more to this than meets the eye, but, you exhaust all other ideas before you do this. If the kids are leaning on each other huggin, you bust it up. If its a quick hey hug, let it fly. Don't you have better things to worry about? I think this principal doesn't

95% of all school rules are crowd control. I'm sure the principal isn't all that anti-affection, but wants to get students to class quickly and efficiently.

I think you're reading too much into this. It's just crowd control and nothing more.
