My child attends middle school and several times I have noticed kids coming into their office and being told that if they didn't have a fever, they weren't sick and to go back to class. Excuse me, but you don't have to run a fever to be sick! Then I observe these nurses just chatting away and I can tell they get angry, if bothered. Anyone else seen this at their schools?

I'm a junior in high school now and atteding both college and high school. I took the GED practice test to see if I could pass it easly. I exceeded with the test and people say that I should go on with the GED test to be finished with high school and just move on with college. I'm a little afraid that a University might not accept a GED. I know that people can attend college even without a high school diploma. I would rather go on with my career and recieve my Phd faster rather than worry about one more year in high school. So with getting my GED does it make me look less smart? Can I recieve scholarships and grants with a GED?

well i personally feel that E,E. is unnecessary especially with that much portion .Why is the board building up so much pressure on students .We could have done some projects if necessary .
After the introduction of this subject i have lost my concern for our environment .You need to byheart byheart and byheart. well its not gonna do us good

Especially since the way kids learn is to do the homework. I personally don't mind giving a little bit of help, but some of these kids just ask for someone to give the answers. When you answer one do you feel you are giving them the easy way out? Asking for input or advice is one thing but asking someone else to solve it for them is just cheating them out of a learning process.

I'm in 7th grade, i go to a private school, and its catholic...im only Christian. so since im not catholic i pay more...me and my sister go to this school...except just last summer, my parents were split, and my dad pretty much pays for everything...and since my parents got like an injunction against eachother...they cant talk or anything. my dad has to go to work late every morning because he has to drive me and my sister to school, ( mom used to do that ) he gets less money for less hours. for each kid who isnt catholic, it costs like $3,500 me and my sister were on scholarship. because my parents were together then, now if we qualified for a sholarship, ( the Florida scholarship) and they saw my dad tax return, they would say his income is too much, but it's not..when my parents were together we had more people in the house so we got the scholarship...but not now. ive been going to this school since 4th grade. any other ways to help with this?
