While he manages to get the work done, he is often the last one to start when given instructions. He also has issues where he calls out the answers instead of raising his hand, and distracts others from time to time. I understand that he is a kid, but I have repeatedly reminded him about behaving in class. Anyone have suggestions of things (short of physical punishment) that can deter this in the future?

children had nothing to be confused about except algebra. Those that were arrogant enough to test authority didn't listen to their parents being blamed for their behavior either. The parents and teachers weren't fighting while the child stood their and laughed or bragged to their friends. What seems to be the problem with here....complaining getting us anywhere?

My 12 yr old son is a victum of bullying and teasing in his school. He will finally push or shove back, and faces detention or suspension. He is a nice kid, A-B average grades, and so far likes school. The school policy is to go to someone in authority and tell them, before it gets to shoving, but just today, kids were teasing him, he took only so much and shoved them against the locker. The tape in the hall shows he WAS being harassed, and he and the BULLIES are in office detention, because school policiy is nothing physical. HE IS THE VICTUM here, in more ways than that. IF HE TELLS, he is harassed, if HE SHOVES, he is treated like the guilty party. How does a PARENT handle it with the child. His dad said "hit him" and show them not to mess with you. But then he could be in more trouble. I dont want to take him out of this school, he has lots of friends too.

I am looking for anyone that has collected Box Tops for Education and doesn't know what to do with them. Our school is trying to raise money for a new computer lab, which the kids desperatly deserve.

If you have or know someone that has BoxTops and would like to donate them to the elementary school in Lowell, Indiana please let me know. I will kindly send you a SASE if you would be so kind and generous to send them to me.

Thanks for your help. Please & Thanks!

.In the history part of socialscience we have application, knowledge and understanding ,what sort of questions come under each category?and in social science if we are ready with the book,is it enough or we may expect questions from outside the book?In the guide we have extra informations and do we have to study that.for example,in the second chapter of history ,they have just given that the domestic system began in the eighteenth century and in the guide we have separarte question regarding what is domestic system which is not in the book,do we have to prepare for this type of questions?
in the disaster management and history part, the syllabus prescribed are given in the form of headings and if we are ready with these headings, is it enough?
