I'm in 7th grade, i go to a private school, and its catholic...im only Christian. so since im not catholic i pay more...me and my sister go to this school...except just last summer, my parents were split, and my dad pretty much pays for everything...and since my parents got like an injunction against eachother...they cant talk or anything. my dad has to go to work late every morning because he has to drive me and my sister to school, ( mom used to do that ) he gets less money for less hours. for each kid who isnt catholic, it costs like $3,500 me and my sister were on scholarship. because my parents were together then, now if we qualified for a sholarship, ( the Florida scholarship) and they saw my dad tax return, they would say his income is too much, but it's not..when my parents were together we had more people in the house so we got the scholarship...but not now. ive been going to this school since 4th grade. any other ways to help with this?

for 8th grade next year, i may need to go to a public school. they are not bad, but all my friends are at my school now...and they r gonna go there next year, plus im getting a good education there. just yesterday i got inducted to the NJHS. the teachers i have, they know me, they know how I am, and I like them, well some. I wanna stay even though they have strict rules about nailpolish and too low socks...and ur shirt tucked in ur uniform. i wanna stay. we don't have lockers a public school would, thats good, we probabaly wouldnt be running back and forth all day without a 5 minute period, no uniform...but im very shy....it took me up to 6th grade to actually let go since 4th grade. 5th grade i did a little. i don't wana switch schools, i wanna stay. please help...ill pray.

Can your parents have you go between houses once in a while? This way, your mom can help pay. It's not fair that they make you pay more because you are Christian. I'm Catholic and I think that it is going against equality. They seem to discriminate against you because of this small fact. I wish you well. Oh yeah, have your dad or someone complain to the principle about this whole discriminating against Christians. . .just watch your temper.
