I think it is good to know what sex is long before kids even begin to think about romance. Doing so would probably prevent much guessing, asking the wrong people, dwelling on the thoughts, and being such a popular topic of intrigue at school.
I remember most of my curiosities were dwelt upon because sex was so mysterious and appealing, like some magical elixir. If I had known everything from the get-go, long before I had the slightest interest, my mind would have been free to move onto other things, and my friends wouldn't have made it such a big deal at recess.
At that age, it's like some mysterious religion that everyone wants to figure out. Since every kid age 6 and up knows what it is anyway, you have to do your best to remove the intrigue.

I do not have a problem with sex education at such a young age to an extent as long as it is not too graphic and has an emphasis on relationships. I strongly believe that teaching children the facts, the dangers and the precautions from a young age will decrease the number of teenage pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases greatly. Britain must stop being so coy about the matter, it is a fact of life and teaching children about sex will not stop children from having a childhood. Furthermore, I believe more needs to be done, especially in the sense that I strongly believe children should not only be taught about hetrosexual sex and relationships.

I can only answer from the point of a parent who did not receive the proper education in this subject when I was a child. As a result, I was glad to turn this part of my children's education over to the school. Small town and I trusted the teachers. It is has been proven over and over that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but more knowledge often solves this. One of the features of good sex education is the development of a knowledge base of STD's (sexually transmitted disease) this is a necessary bit of knowledge for anyone, child or adult.

Education is not bad but it is very difficult to give sex education. Allow them to learn naturally. Students should be allowed to ask question on any topic including sex. There may be 1 period per week for general experiences. Age gap is big problem in sex education. All want to learn sex from same age group.

Sex education at school is not good as children when they are taught all this at a very young age they are more prone to trying all those activities and leads into increase of certain acts.
It should be made known to them in colleges as they'll be mature enough to decide whats good and bad for them.

I am sure its good. Sex education has started the day a kid is aware of the anatomical difference between a boy and girl. Schools are not teaching kids "How to do it.......". Sex education is a very broad subject. I feel there is nothing wrong in learning about what your life depends on as early as is necessary.

Sex education was way too technical for us when we got it in school. No one cared and most were embarrassed when we had to learn the proper names of the private parts. The real sex education came later on when people started experimenting and talking about it. The best sex education comes from some married adults who are willing to tell the truth about things and not be embarrassed. If you are concerned about your kids going out and experimenting, than you need to tell them some basic facts about sex but also tell them what you expect from them and what their standards should be.

I'm of opinion that sex education is the method to clarify the doubts in the minds of the children as they grow up about sex , since there is a vast exposure of this subject through the media that underscores the importance of awareness at an early age .

Modern sexual obession could follow. Gandhi had some advice. Do some research on his advice to young men. Sex education, should not be about "how to", the biology of course. The formation of morals and the proper ordering of sexual behavior is most important. Increasing population is a good thing, it shows that Indians revere life and don't disrespect it like they do in the West.

Sex education is always good in school. If I say it is/was already there. But under different subject production or re-production. These are always taught in science. But now it is labled under a new subject SEX education, to make it more sexy. That is all the difference.
