Instead of just learning for a test or a year and forgetting all the information the next week or month or year, what are some ways I can learn information and remember it?

Try to come up with memory tricks to help remember facts. Also, see if you can explain the information to someone or find some way to apply the information to your life. The more you use new knowledge and integrate it into your life, the better you will understand it and the more you will remember it.

As you are learning the information first write it down, for instance take notes in class.

When you get home write them down again but maybe neater than you did in class and in complete sentences instead of just notes.

Then you could type them up into Microsoft Word or write them up onto flashcards so that you can study them even more. The key thing is is to write and rewrite and rewrite.

Hope that it helps!

I would write a couple of notes or try teaching it to someone(like helping a friend with there work) Make notes to read over, read more on the subject apply it......but ya the really only way you can be sure to rememeber the info is by applying it.
