This has happened to me so take my advice. Tell them about your grade but dont just leave it alone, you have to show them that your trying. go to tutoring and let them see that your studyig and are trying to make the grade. But if they see that you ignor it and it doesnt mean anything then thats when they have a problem with it. As long as you try and dont hide the fact of a bad grade then you'll be fine. Never give up....

Tell them that you have been trying your hardest and then perhaps blame it on a missing assignment. I don't know, the worst grade I've ever had was a C+, which was in an Advanced class--and my parents pretty much grounded me for 5 months.

That wasn't very supportive, I apologize.

Do you mean how do you tell your parents that you got bad grades? ... hmm ... well as i get them alot, i always try and find out exactly what i screwed up on, so i can say "Yes, i did bad but next time i'll do good! i've been looking over what i did wrong..." and they're less likely to be angry at you:)

Tell them you'll try harder.......and actually MEAN IT. Trust me, the first half of the year I was such a slacker and I asked myself "what am I doing?" and started getting serious. But I feel like such a dork now.

But seriously, education is important, VERY important, you will regret it if you don't try harder to get good grades. Do your best and good luck.

Although quite difficult to face, the only thing to do is tell them straight, and vow to reform, by studying more diligently. Perhaps your parents will be more understanding and arrange that a personal tutor be hired for you.

tell your parents that you have had alot on your mind and that you are having trouble in school and if that doesn't work then tell them teachers are not describing the work and ask if you can start staying after school to do extra credit if that doesn't work then just break out crying

just tell them the truth... and, tell them why you had these grades... and what you will do to improve them. just be relaxed and confident.
