Hm 10th grade....it really depends on the courses you're taking...their difficulty and of course whether you're the kind of person who gets away with flipping through a book but still comes up with straight A's.

On average, to be amongst the best, you should put in about three-four hours a day. Don't study too much- meaning don't spend your whole day buried in books. But when you study, study smart. Make plans and source out what is important and good to study instead of devouring every single book available in the market.

I have heard that a good rule of thumb is that you should have no more than 10 minutes of homework/study time a night for each grade level.

1st grade - 10 minutes all the way to 2 hours (120 minutes) for 12th grade.

i bet u can study for atleast 4 hrs and maybe another 6hrs in the day time
