The graduation is in a couple of weeks and I don't have a clue what to get him. I want it to be nice...but not outrageously expensive. I don't mind spending some money, but don't want to go into debt either.

hi guys,

i'm currently studying electrical eng, and now i'm doing my industrial training for 6 month.

and i think that i want to continue to further my studies abroad for post graduate.

the problem is, i dont like engineering,

i like arts, mass communications, acting, hosting, international studies, and things like that, i love debating, public speaking and etc.

for now, i'm confused on what to take for my post graduate and where. i dont know which international university would suit me best

It has been 10 years since I took my SAT. My scores were miserably low. I now have a 3.3 GPA at a 2 years college and am wanting to apply to an Ivy league school. 3.3 is not good enough to apply and I am working on that. However, should I also work on raising my SAT score as well? Is retaking the SAT allowed after 10 years?

Firstly, do ivy league schools base a large part of their admission decision on an SAT/ACT score even after you have attended a 2 yr college and escaped with a 3.3 GPA (plus 7 years of executive management work experience)? If the answer is a no, what is the lowest GPA that a school such as Stanford will find acceptable?

I am presently learning in a technical school and honestly, it's just a small institution. One day, I heard people saying that the school where I learning in is a fake school where in fact it is registered in TESDA, an agency here in philippines responsible for the school license. Some also say that the students of our school has no good future awaiting after them. I felt bad because as far as I've noticed, my school is giving a quality education and it's very promising. The school building has nothing to do with the best teachings of the instructors. I can't understand why people are underestimating my school even they don't have a single knowledge on how nice my school is.

OK, so i have to choose what i want to study in University, really soon, like in 2 week. I kinda have an inerst in fashion and design and sometimes when i go shopping with freinds, I have some neat ideas for matchin colors.
But, since i really wanna be an independant lady, I want to make good money from my career, therefore, i was also thinking of studying Dentistry ( which I'm neutral about, ie. dont hate it, dont like it :D ). PLz help me choose b/w these 2 and tell me whether I will be having anychance in todays world of fashion? PLz explain in details , this is a matter of life and death. Oh, eventhough i really dont like biology and sciences, I manage to get 90+ grades on them, but i find them kinda boring and hard. I'm also afraid that my interest in fashion could not be real. Where can I find a list of all the general classes an undergraduate of any University of California required to take? (Regardless of their major), especially UCLA and UC Berkeley. Because I want to take as many of them as possible at community colleges while still in high school, so that I wouldn't be worn out when going to college.

ok i am doing ok in my college classes, a little above a 3.0 average for each class. i'm a freshman. uhh i bought books for my classes, but they're Ebooks. the problem is i guess they've expired because they refuse to open. every time i try only the glossary opens. if i try to open a chapter a box pops up then it freezes. basically i can't get into my ebook because of a problem with my computer
my mom said this weekend she can get someone to pick me up. we don't have a car that'll make it ALL the way to where i am. we stay in a small town with no airport. the greyhound is not running where i stay.
so basically i can skip 2 of my finals and go home this saturday. i can go home for free on saturday without my mom or me paying anything because her friend is coming down here on saturday. i don't think i'm going to pass my finals because my ebooks won't open, and i can't buy my last 2 chapters because of my pay schedule. i changed my degree, and the classes i'm taking aren't needed???
