Hi, I am feeling very confused right now. I am a sophmore in college and I can't completely figure out what I want to do with my life. I want a job/career helping people around the world. I want to improve the lives of others and help them. I also want to work for or being involved with organizations like WHO, UNICEF and others such. I want do something in biological sciences or health or something related also. Currently I have a minor in business and a minor in Spanish. I also speak Hindi, and a little bit of Arabic.
So I don't know what to do with all this. What path should I go on? Can someone please help me?
thank you for taking the time to read this.

I am doing a research project about being a flight attendant. And I can't find what college or universities are good choices for this career. Don't tell me that airlines require only a high school diploma because I know that already. I need to know why also.

I am a freshman at one of those "top" east coast colleges, however, I really need to transfer to a school in my state because of family issues.
I am really worried that law schools would look unfavorably if I had transfered from a top tier school, with very good grades, to a smaller, lesser known private college, where I could do just as well.
Should I worry or should I participate in more activities to compensate?

Hi, I'm currently in my second year of college right now and I am somewhat concerned for my orgo chem grade for the fall semetser. I am a chem/pre-pharmacy major and right now, I am somewhere on the borderline of a high C to a low B in class. Will it hurt my chances to get into pharmacy schools later on?? I am planning to take the second part of organic next semester but I am so afraid, especially because our final exam is coming up. I am also taking calculus I and biology which I am doing very good but I'm just concerned with chem. Positive comments would be great.

So heres a questions.

i've just recently gotten into the university i've wanted, i'm transfering there to start winter term soon (coming from a community college)

now they have a speciatly program, thats 5-years, but give yous a b.s and a masters at the end of it

im really interested in it, and what not. but theres requirements. it almost feels as if i'm trying again to apply

it even says "High achieving high school applicants" (i qualify as a freshman cause i don't have enough credits that are transering to make me a transfer)

anyways, they have a specific course layout, like what classes to take, and when to take it.

now the school is closed cause its still a weekend, and i'm calling them tommarow, but in the meantime, i'll ask

since its a speciatly program, do you think i have a chance to get into, if i don't meet all of the requirements? idk if its something i have to try to apply for or not

and what if i did all the classes, even if i wasn't in the program?

Typically how long do most people prepare for it?? Lately I've been trying to plan out my life (like what classes I will be taking) for the next 2 years and I plan on getting my BA at the end of Spring 09. So I will need to take my MCATs no later then Fall 08 so I can apply for med-schools. But because I'm a little behind I will still need to take the 2nd half of ochem in Summer 08 and will probably be left with only a month to prepare for the MCATs. I figure I won't really need to review the Ochem parts of the MCATs too much because it will still be fresh. I'm really only worried about the physics and general bio sections.

Sooooo, will one month be enough time to prep??? Should I probably start preparing right now to make up for the lack of time I will have later?

- Thank You!!!!

My college is not working for me. I've had bad luck scheduling again, and I'm only able to take 12 credits because this school has too many students and too few of classes. So after this year I'll have a grand total of 24 credits for the year. I've gotten bad advising and had to drop several credits in the past being placed in the wrong level of class, and advisors that aren't helpful. Housing has been a living hell and I'm moving into one of the university apartments next year but that is botched too and I got an incorrect assignment and they won't admit we were placed wrong. I just feel like I can't win here. The reason I've stayed so long is that I'm on the track and field team, it's divison 2, my coach was a 5x national champion and we've got the best team in the conference. I love the track team, but I hate the college. I don't know if the team is enough to make me stay here two more years after this. I already feel like I won't be able to graduate in four years now.

I am just curious, because I am trying to have my university give me copies of transcripts I already submitted last year in order to give to the British government for a visa I am trying to attain.

Is the reason this is illegal because of the fact that schools make money off of students asking for transcripts?
