Set up a plan. for tests, quizes, homework... when you fail to plan, you plan to fail. And follow your plan, stick with it and see the results.

Honestly, the way that you wrote here might be an indicator of some fundamental improvements you need to make. If you are spelling this way in your "c" class, what other errors are you making? Step back and look at your fundamentals:
Diet
General feeling
Atmosphere
Distractions
Study ethic
Thoughts about yourself
Motivation level
Negative emotions, etc.

Rawr,
These things can help:
-study up on that subject a whole bunch
-try to look in to any extra credit for that class
-always go the extra mile with any assignments
-double check over all your work
-always use references for things you're not sure about.
I know it may sound like a lot, but having a C means you're doing the absolute minimum that you're required to do, and in order to raise that up, you have to think like an A++ student.
