Job availability depends on what you major in. For example, a nursing major will always have job oppurtunities because people will always need medical attention. There are other jobs that have many job oppurtunities, and there are also jobs that don't. Another factor is where you live.
Also keep in mind, while it can be difficult to find a job after college, it is even more difficult to get a good job without a degree. You will eventually pay off those college loans (which helps your credit score), however you may not ever be able to live comfortably without that degree. No one can take your degree from you if you miss a payment on your loan for college. Its not like a house payment where you can have you house taken. College debt is good debt.
Hope this helped.
Good luck!

I think it is worth the time and money. The fact is that even though you may not get a job in the field you majored in, you still may be able to get a better job in another field. Your chances are way greater than if you only had a high school diploma. No one wants to make minimum wage all their life.

It matters more for men as they are the providers in American culture. You're not a man if you don't work. Nonetheless, I recommend you go to college because no man wants to marry a stupid girl.
