In the USA you can major in law enforcement in some colleges. After 4 years you have a degree in law enforcement. You could then apply to police academies. You need to work your way up in police departments. You need to be physically and mentally strong and need to work as a cop several years. There are tests to take and your recommendations need to be good. Most private detectives are retired police officers. Go to the FBI website and see what they have written there. That is another avenue to explore.

You could also apply to work as a hotel security guard while you work on your hotel degree. You may be better off majoring in law enforcement.

Well, when you imply in school, then I advocate English. Find a school with ingenious writing guides. Of path, you do not must get a measure in English. Personally I advocate that you just get a measure you'll use to get a profession and write at the facet. Most folks who write are not making a dwelling off of it. Have a again-up plan. Also, each and every writer I've heard speak approximately their writing says that they learn plenty. Just learn. Read a wide variety of books. Trust me, it is going to make you a higher creator. You'll gain knowledge of from others the best way to write, what works, and so forth.
