I am back at school after a long absence, how can I stay motivated to finish my last two years? It's so much harder to do this after life is in full force! It was so much easier when I was in my early twenties!!

I was wondering if George Mason University is considered good?

Because I plan to attend Northern Virginia Community College and they have a program where, if you get 2.75 GPA or higher, you can automatically transfer there after obtaining an associates degree.

Also, I want to go to law school some day, and George Mason has a law school. Is it a good idea to go to a law school that is related to the college where you obtained your bachelors degree?

Thanks for any help.

I'm going to be a junior next year, but I'm on the volleyball team here. We are, as I already mentioned, a D-3 school. What is the policy for studying abroad if you are an athlete. I'd like to go to England for an Academic year, but I fear that I may not be allowed to. Any info would be great. Thanks. I'm at an American university by the way.

I heard that in the US, girls graduate from high school in greater numbers than boys, and girls out-number boys in university. Why is this? Do you think our education system are bias toward girls/women and boys are being put at an disadvantage?

Ok, I am writing a transfer essay.
The question is: Please provide a statement (250 words) that addresses your reasons for transferring and the objectives you hope to acheive.

Since I am applying to more than one school, the essay can't be specific towards a particular school. I'm confused about how I am supposed to answer this question!? PLEASE HELP ME if you have any thoughts, you are helping me tremendously! THANK YOU!!!!

If I withdraw from a course and get a "W", even though it does not affect my G.P.A., would you say it looks very bad on my transcript?

I've been working with different feilds in the past 11 years and some people or some of my friends brag about their degree. But i never had any problems with my jobs I function well deliver my outcome great. I'm only a high school graduate while some of my friends have BA's and they think they are better and i am not cause I don't have a degree. I find myself knowing more and seen more and can asses duties that they can't or dindn't do in school. But I guess they cannot see that.

Is there a way to get some classes revoked from my transcript (i.e. delete courses I've taken already off the transcript)?

I took some community college courses during high school and I strongly feel that it does not reflect my best performance and maturity relative to my college years. So, I'd like to get those courses revoked so it does not appear in the transcript
is that possible?

As wierd as it may seem, I'm a girlscout, and I'm trying to earn my Silver Award. I'm supposed to ask questions to a few people...so I was hoping someone on here would be able to help. Answer one if you can pretty please.

1) For a college student: -Why are you taking the classes that you are? -What job do you expect to get when you're done?

2) For someone with a job that very few women do: -What training do you need for this job?

3)Someone with a job that requires a college degree plus a graduate degree:-What kinds of subjects do you have to study? -What kind of schools offer the degree programs required to enter this field?

4)One job that requiresan artistic or mechanical skill:-How did you prepare for this job? -What steps did yo take to move up in this career?

Please and thank you very very much for helping a cadet earn the highest award for her age level! ^.^

I have started my PreReqs at a university to become a x-ray tech. I have been informed you may also become qualified to do this at a local hospital. When I first heard of this, I thought why should I work 2-3 years at a hospital without getting Paid??
But now I realize, I have to take PreReqs for two years then get into Radiography program for 2more, which you must attend CLINCALS--which are--working at a hosptal without getting Paid!!!
My Question is are there any advantages for a person to go to school for 4 years....instead getting qualified at a hospital in 2-3 years??
Also, Does the hospital program allow you to move up and be a MRI, or ULTRsound Tech..without a Bacholars..because thats what I really want to do??

I am dreaming to get into UChicago, Washington University in St. Louis, a good private school, or a lower-level Ivy League like Duke or a ivy-league equivalent. I currently have a GPA of around 3.75, play baseball, but I know that I need to get involved in more clubs, volunteer programs, etc. I'm planning on taking the PSAT next Wednesday and the ACT in December. I have taken a practice test already for the PSAT.

I go to a smaller high school that isn't likely to be considered a upper-tier secondary school, so I'm probably going to have to be in the top 2 or 3 in my class along with an ACT score of at least 29, right? Any help would greatly be appreciated. I plan on majoring in either business administration or economics and management.
