finish a high ranking liberal art (muhlenberg college) school in 1 year and a half..I took 7 classes a semester and have a GPA of 3.8
Major Finance, minor french.
I'm a fluent spanish french and portuguese speaker I got 6 months worth of experience with internships
I recently took the GMAT and got a 740

I receive 5 recommendations from professors with a doctors 3 of which went to Ivy schools.

My college is all paid off and I started to work, I'm earning 54k a year but I consider that too low for me. I want a masters from a great school, I want to go to Wharton. Can anyone tell me the chances of getting in...I know I have not much experience on my field but I have an outstanding school history and great recommendations from the people that though me and from my past internships

It's only my sophomore year and my grades are okay. I do volunteer a lot at the hospital and through key club. I take dance and piano as extra curricular activities. Three of my classes are honors and 2 are not. I did get a couple of B's last year. Junior year i will most likely take one or two AP classes and then senior year about three of four. Is there any hope for me getting into an Ivy League School?

i want to go to University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, but I dont know which is better, having easy classes and high GPA, or hard classes with a lower GPA?

I am a sophomore, and I went with a lot of honors courses, and I'm not doing so well right now. Will that kill the chances of me getting into this university? I probably have a 3.2 or 3.3 right now.

The pass grade is on of the latest assignments that i had worked on. Now, am very worried that it might hinder my chance of being invited to do my honours!!! Assignment 1 i got a C+ and assignment 2 a Pass grade. C=credit's range is 60-69% (thy take just 40% of this when calculating and for assignment 2 was a pass grad which is in the range of 50-59% this is 60% weitage when calculating the final mark. So 40% for the first and 60% for the 2nd, what would be my final grade you think? will i atleast get a overall credit or just a pass grade? Am so very sad... :( can you believe it... all my work has been distinctions and high distinction and now this has to happen :( please help!

Yikes! This is like High School! I'm 42, and I shake my head. The content is like middle school and I'm the only geek who answers questions. The kids look at me, like I'm weird and roll their eyes.

I'm just trying to get my paper, and I don't even want to go to class. I'm not trying to show off, this is just stuff I know.
I quit going to class because I can't stand the looks and the silence.
I know I don't belong. The class is stupid and all the teens stare at me, for a response. I'm not going to class. I can do the readings and show up for the last 2/3 of class.

I hate college. It's still the same ****, with the same stupid blondes, only I'm paying for it! WHAT!!!

know this is really just a personal decision...but words of wisdom or anything is greatly appreciated. I grew up my whole life just knowing I was going to be a doctor and in middle school decided on orthopedic surgery. I took a few clases in high school for anatomy and what not and really loved them But, as I started college I thought about doing marine biology. I took one class my freshman year of college about freshwater ecology and loved it...I did so well that my professor hired me for the summer to do some work out of state with him (which i also enjoyed very much) and we are getting some a papers published and everything..so I do really well in this environmental stuff. So I am a sophmore now and I need to decide what to do in life. I feel like I abandoned a medical career so fast, after years of planning, and now matter what I pursue I am always going to look back and say what if I had chosen to do the other career. Any advice??

I'm a freshman in college and i'm a very well behaved student and such but in my anthropology class we had a test and I didn't go because I felt I wasn't ready, instead I got this bright idea to tell my teacher that I had a doctor's appointment. Well he wants a doctor's note and I don't have one. Should I try to make one or should I tell him the truth?

I'm a sophmore in high school but I can't stop thinking about college. As for grades, im in AP classes (a year above in math and science) and have mostly As but a few Bs in my classes. Oh, and I'm not in the top 10%, more like 20%, but I go to a high school rated one of the top 100 in the nation, so hopefully that will be taken into account. I also do a few extracurriculars, cross country and student council, but not a whole lot. I'm really serious about getting into a good college, and I'd appreciate your help. Thanks!

Okay, so lately it's been happening too often. I'm a History major at UCLA, third year, with a 4.00 gpa. Now, everytime I meet someone they feel obliged to ask me what my major is, and they kind of scuff and snicker when I tell them it's history. Sometimes I get a response such as : What are you going to do with it, become an archeologist? Or "Are you going to be a history teacher?".....etc.

Most people in college can't handle math, only a small fraction of students are capable of completing calculus, etc. Most people are bullcrap majors like me, so I don't see why people think it's funny. Most people in college should be laughed at, then?

Oh, and how's my english?

I really like the medical field and I think it would be a dream come true to be a doctor. It would not matter to me if I became a vet or a regular human health doctor. However, I also like business in that I would create and own my own business to run. I am just not sure what to go into medical or business? Oh, and my gpa for high school is a really bad 3.0 and I only got a 25 on my act, what do you think?

I want to be able to learn from other peoples mistakes so i dont have to make them. I am looking for wisdom and honesty. Would you have partied more? Less? Would you have studied more? learned more about money? Enjoyed it more? Taken less classes to make it last longer? Or more classes to make it quicker? Etc, etc... What would you do differently or the same if you had a time machine?
