As wierd as it may seem, I'm a girlscout, and I'm trying to earn my Silver Award. I'm supposed to ask questions to a few people...so I was hoping someone on here would be able to help. Answer one if you can pretty please.

1) For a college student: -Why are you taking the classes that you are? -What job do you expect to get when you're done?

2) For someone with a job that very few women do: -What training do you need for this job?

3)Someone with a job that requires a college degree plus a graduate degree:-What kinds of subjects do you have to study? -What kind of schools offer the degree programs required to enter this field?

4)One job that requiresan artistic or mechanical skill:-How did you prepare for this job? -What steps did yo take to move up in this career?

Please and thank you very very much for helping a cadet earn the highest award for her age level! ^.^

I was a Brownie when I was young, so sure, I'll help. I'm a freshman in college, so for your first question:
The classes I'm taking are:
Chemistry- because it's a requirement if you want to go to medical school and a requirement for my major

Introduction to Neuroscience- because I plan to major in Neuroscience and I find the brain very interesting

French- because I think it is a beautiful language and I would like to be able to read books in their original French

and a freshman seminar about Colleges and Universities in the 1960s, because I wanted to find out more about this period of history.

After college, I expect to go on to med school or a PhD program and become a neurologist, physician or research scientist.
