I want to go to san diego state to finish my 3 years and then transfer to a pharmacy school for my pharmD. What would I have to major in at sdsu?

If you are doing well in HS, I think you ought to rethink your decision. None of the CSU schools are very good -- and SDSU is one of the worst in the system.

You should be looking at schools where a large percentage of its graduates go on to graduate school. At SDSU, only 17% even graduate within four years and only a little over half graduate. You will not impress graduate schools with a degree from SDSU.

If you can get into a UC school -- go to one of those. If not, then go to the best university that you can get into.


As for requirements -- look at some web sited for PharmD programs to find out the requirements.

Go to Cal State Long Beach definitely.

To be competitive in California you'll need a bachelors degree. It is very hard to be accepted without one. Popular majors are the science ones.
