I am back at school after a long absence, how can I stay motivated to finish my last two years? It's so much harder to do this after life is in full force! It was so much easier when I was in my early twenties!!

well i would try to remind myself of all the reasons i went back to school in the first place. Those should help with motivation. Also, just so you know, being out of academia so long seriously effects your brain. Its the same as with your body, if you don't excercise it, it will deteriate. Younger kids in college have just come from high-school and have been trained for school all their lives. This will get easier, I promise, it will just take you longer to adjust. Also, try and find things in school that you enjoy, getting study partners can seriously make the time you spend studying much more productive and much more enjoyable. Good Luck! remember it will all be worth it in the end.

I would think the best approach is to think positively about what you will do once you graduate. There is a reason you went back to school and you know what it is. It might be to achieve a particular career. It might be to earn more at your current career.

Why are you in college? What are your goals in life and how will college support them? Think about those goals and visualize attaining them, and then take each day as it comes.

You are older now, more mature (hopefully) and you have a clearer idea of why college is important. It should be easier now than it was when you were there as a younger person.

Think of the $$$$$$$$ college grads earn $250,000 more in their lifetime than people who couldn't afford college.

Easy.
Do you want to become a MACdropout?
Unless your family will support you forever, you go to school and get a job.
Do you want fries with that?
