I will be doing my Masters in Electrical engineering.

Both schools have what I want; now it’s up to me to just choose. So I was wondering, what’s the best place to study, raise a family, good reputation, and just a good school in a great environment?
I know they all can’t be perfect, but which school would you suggest?
Thank you for all your answers!

There is this teacher at my school that helps with college applications, picking a college etc.

My mom is 75% native American and I know there was a chance I may be able to get a scholarship because of it.

I ask the teacher in the office in charge of answer students questions about college. She told me she didn't know and that she knew nothing about minorites and that she doesn't help minorites. That after being at the school for (i believe 18 years) Nobody has ask that question and maybe I should send post it saying Native-American so that the college would see it and somebody else could asnwer questions about minorites.

I feel complete offended because I don't feel aprecated being called a minortiy ( I have a name and Plus white are immigrants I was here first) Plus concerdering Mexicans are also have Native American roots 80% of the time WE ARE NOT THE MINORITY IN THE USA

She started laughing after I asked her and was rolling her eyes.

Since I've started college, I've been hearing a lot about girls giving up everything to be a part of a sorority. My girlfriend wants to be in one next semester. I've heard horror stories of the types of things they make girls do during pledging and frankly, it scares and disgusts me that girls would put themselves through so many degrading things just to be a part of something. I don't really understand it and I don't think I know everything about sorority's but I'm fairly sure my girlfriend wouldn't do anything that would deem her as unfaithful during her pledging so I don't think I have to worry. Still it worries me that I know so little about it? Ladies, help me out here. Give me some insight.

So I started my community college with kind of a rough start. I have about a 3.2 (or something to that effect) science GPA. I was unfocused and my classes were relatively intense given my lack of dedication (gen chem, lower division bio). Im currently attending UC Davis, and I have managed to perform an about face in my academics. Im spending about 4-6 hours a day studying now, so I expect my grades to go up. I have a high gpa in my non-science general ed, which I finished at community college. I worked all summer for UCSF, and ill have two research publications soon. (1st author on one of them). Im an eagle scout. Im taking neurobiology this semester and its not easy. I intend on minoring in anthropology to buffer my incredibly low GPA. Im going to start studying for my MCAT soon , so I can take it this summer. i have yet to finish my Physics/Inorganic series and all upper division reqs. I can write one hell of a personal statement. What do you think. I want to go to a good university

Bah! I'm just so sick of my carelessness. I'm more of a just-do-it kind of person and don't really pay close attention. I tend to make a lot of careless mistakes on homework assignments and tests. Does anyone have some advice to improve this or some kind of procedure they take when they need to remember stuff? Thanks in advance

I'm at uni doing a History degree and am finding it really boring at the moment. I can't seem to motivate myself to study. I always leave everything to the last minute, and end up doing the work at 2am of the day it's due in. How can I stop being a lazy cow and be more motivated?

I either want a degree in Social Services but I do not want to take kids away from their parents and I want to take criminal justice but I could never be a probation officer or a lawyer. Anyone that can even offer a little help please do, I am so lost.

Right now I am a sophomore in a 4 yr. college, however for the most part, I have take classes specifically for my major. However, I need to transfer to a school in Texas. The problem is that I need to find an area either in S.A. or very close to it. I have used college board to hopefully match me up with a college that has the hospitality management and tourism curriculum. Is it possible for me to transfer to a 2 yr. college and just take the remainder of the courses that I need for this degree and graduate with a bachelor's degree. I have even though about an online course, but i was thinking that future employers may not think I am qualified since it is online. I just dont know what do do. I feel like I am taking a step down by going to a community college, but if it would be possible for me to take the necessary classes there and then apply for graduation? Is this possible??! I need help!

He makes A's and is very smart. I feel like he spends WAY too much unneccessary time on homework, then has no time to do anything with me...he somehow manages to do what HE wants though...
