Make sure that you wear comfortable shoes - you will probably be doing a lot of walking.

As for your clothes, I would suggest wearing something like Khakis or black pants and a button down or nice shirt. It doesn't have to be really dressy, but more like business casual. Just make sure you are comfortable though.

I would probably stay away from jeans and gym shoes if you are meeting with the admissions committee.

Wait--you say tour and an interview? If you are just touring--I work in the library at my school and groups come through all the time. Just wear anything comfortable.

If it's an interview AND a tour--khaki slacks or a nice skirt, comfy flat shoes and a decently nice shirt. Nothing too fancy.

A nice comfortable oufit would work. You really either need jeans or khaki pants with a nice dressy but not business shirt and some comfortable but dressy looking shoes. Because if your the kind of person that is really girly (mini skirts, tight shirts,) you should know not to dress this way but still try to act like yourself. Good Luck on your tour and interview!!!!

Dress the way you would for a job interview. Jacket and tie for males. Something similar for females.

magnificent solutions so far, and agreed with posters who advise bringing layers! it is so depressing to undergo in strategies a campus bypass to as a cold/moist place. Ugh. denims without tears/holes, and comfortable shoes for walking, are completely existence like; i'm a professor or perhaps I relatively tend to anticipate casual yet neat outfits. placed on a presentable magnificent that makes you sense comfortable and which you seem superb in. while you're chatting with admissions officers, provosts or professors, you would be wanting to sense comfortable and assured which you seem superb, so only take adequate hassle with your visual attraction which you be attentive to you will no longer might desire to be aggravating approximately it, you be attentive to what I advise? have exciting, it is so exciting to hearken to that potential scholars are traveling campuses, yay!
