So now I'm behind in all my classes. As of today, I missed 4 papers and some in class assignments. Now I'm trying to figure out what to do... Try to stick it out, turn in everything late and get C's or D's in order to graduate, or drop all my classes and try again in the spring so I can try to still graduate with honors. I already have a good job and experience in my field, so no degree is not holding me back (as of now) but I'm just SOOOO ready to be finished that I don't even care about my GPA anymore (I don't think)...

I don't know what I should do. Any suggestions???

I hear the news and read the articles talking about how those people who obtain a degree make x% more than their peers who don't go to college. I understand how they come up with this, however I look at my situation, and those around me and I just don't see it.

I went to school for 3 years, I dropped out and now I'm now working for a national association and making more than enough money to support myself and my family. My employer knows that I don't have a degree, and while he encourages me to get one he says that as long as I keep doing what I'm doing and using my "street smarts" to improve the business, he'll keep me around.

I have friends who graduated, some who went on to get their masters degree, and most of them are still bar-tending, working for a family business, or working as management in retail stores with no benefits...all while paying off 40-60k in school loans...so my question is.... Is a degree as important as people say it is ?

I graduated a year ago from college. However, I've now decided I'd like to pursue a career in psychiatry. Sadly, I never took any science courses as an undergraduate. Is there anyway I can get around this?

I am a freshman in college. And I am struggling immensely. I am also working full time as a waitress at Frisch's. I HATE school but I LOVE work.

I am considering three options.
One is to quit school and just work full time and be happy.
Another is to stay here at school and work.
And the third is to transfer to a commmunity college and get an associate's degree in Restaurant Management and still work full time at Frisch's.

I'm so confused as to what I should do! I don't want to let anyone down.

Any advice?

I graduated from college a year ago with a degree in psychology, and I'm applying to grad school soon. Most schools require 3 letters, and I know I can get two solid letters (one from boss, one from research professor). I don't even really speak to any other professor. Any other professor I ask now would hardly know me. What should I do?? Should I still ask a random professor even if he/she does not know me very well? What other options do I have? Thanks for any help!

I'm wanting to take a few 1 hour classes @ a community college (cheap). Then I'd like to transfer them to my uni. Is it common for a school to not accept credits? Don't they usually just give you unclassified credits that work as electives?
