Right now I am a sophomore in a 4 yr. college, however for the most part, I have take classes specifically for my major. However, I need to transfer to a school in Texas. The problem is that I need to find an area either in S.A. or very close to it. I have used college board to hopefully match me up with a college that has the hospitality management and tourism curriculum. Is it possible for me to transfer to a 2 yr. college and just take the remainder of the courses that I need for this degree and graduate with a bachelor's degree. I have even though about an online course, but i was thinking that future employers may not think I am qualified since it is online. I just dont know what do do. I feel like I am taking a step down by going to a community college, but if it would be possible for me to take the necessary classes there and then apply for graduation? Is this possible??! I need help!

Check out "the Big Three" - these schools allow almost 100% transfer of credit into their degree programs and all three are regionally accredited.

You could then take classes anywhere (regionally accredited) in the classroom or online, and transfer them to your BA/BS

Excelsior College http://www.excelsior.edu
Charter Oak State College http://www.cosc.edu
Thomas Edison State College http://www.tesc.edu

These programs are used a lot by military people who find they have to move around too often to complete their degree at any one college.

I think any of these would be exactly what you're looking for in order to complete your degree goal.

I seriously doubt you can transfer to a 2 yr college & graduate with a bachelor. You can typically transfer about 60 credits for undergrad. Some people take the liberal studies classes at a community college and then transfer to a larger university to finish. Typically the last x credits (depends on the school), must be taken in residency. It sounds like you would need to transfer to a different (major) university to complete your studies and earn the degree from that school. Good luck!
