I work full time and there are no schools close by that offer a PhD in nutrition. I am a registered dietitian who went to school at the university of pittsburgh for 6 years obtaining first a BS in clinical dietetics and nutrition then getting a MS in exercise physiology. Nutrition is my passion and I would like a PhD in nutrition but there are no schools that offer it around Pittsburgh. I work full time so I need online courses. Do you think on-line degrees are good and will it help advance my career? What schools have PhD in nutrition? I checked google but it is taking forever? Anyone have an online nutrition degree? Has it helped you professionally?

I'm a high School Senior right now, thinking about going to law school. The problem is I have absolutely no money for college cause my dad isn't going to pay jack for my schooling, let alone graduate school. So if I attend a public school (A suny or cuny in my case), and then a private law school will I be able to pay off my debt within a few years after I finish law school?

I am a junior in high school who wants to go into the design field. However I don't really know if I want to go into advertising, marketing, or some other media. Is visual communications a good major since it is more general? Could I get a good job from that major with just a bachleors degree? Also does anyone know any good universities with this major in the midwest?

As a transfer student I am just wondering what kind of bearing knowing someone who works at the university could be. The person I know is my cousin and she is a director of administration of some sort. I believe I am a competitive applicant but I am out of state so by knowing her would that help me get an acceptance into the school?

I am at top business school program. There is one professor who is famous and with lots of industry connections. He is tenured at another top school. At the end of the class and before the final he openly courted me in the class room. Other classmates tell me it is stupid of me not to go out with him. As with his fame and connections, he will be able to help me out a lot. I like him too. I rejected him at the end, no I regret it. Did I do the right thing?

And going to take summer school. I'm average, so is it possible to get 3.5 or higher in college? I got 3.0 in high school, but i heard high school is way easier then college.Any good tips? I know one good tip is attend class everyday!!

It wouldn't be a "vacation". It would be an actual course that I would earn credits for. Ten students (selected via essay/application) would be travelling to the rainforests of Asia for 2 weeks and each have an assigned project to study and present upon return to fellow students/professors. We would also be spending the entire time with a world-renowned scientist that has been on Nat'l Geographic. Do you think it would give me an edge? In your answer, please tell me if you are answering from experience (i.e. you are a grad student, professor, etc.) Thanks so much.

I am looking between two programs; The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accredits one, while International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) accredits the second. I know the AACSB is more coveted within the business community, but is a degree from an institution accredited by IACBE worthwhile? Do the different levels of accreditation really matter? Or is it merely important to get a degree from an accredited university? The AACSB degree will be much harder to attain (fitting into my schedule), is it worth completely going out of your way to get the higher accreditation?
