I`m now a grade12 student in my highschool.I came to Canada 9months ago, but because I was a newcomer and ESLstudent,I didn`t take PHYSICS12,CHEM12,and of course, English12. Now,I`m graduating with some other courses, but I need to take those three courses for entering university.I have decided not to go to college because my marks are very high and I just don`t wanna destroy them by taking college courses. I`m now 18 and I can stay another year in highschool taking 3 courses. But because it will take me a whole year to pass them,I`d rather to go to adult school to pass them in like one or two terms. But my parents and especially my older brother insist that I’d better remain in my school another year than go to adult school, because the adultschool teachers do not really help students especially in English courses. On the other hand,I`m really afraid of taking English12 in my school next year, because almost all of the students will be native speakers.I’m really confused…pls help me!

I am a community college professor and would be interested to hear about your experiences in the classroom. Do you teach any compressed format classes and if so, how do you keep your students alert and involved for three to six hours at a stretch?

I spent this last semester busting my *** trying to get good grades. Up until about 2 weeks ago i looking at getting a 3.75. Then, in each of my classes i had one final assignment and for each one i got my *** kicked. Now i am looking at a 2.5 with one F. What is the ******* point of trying if all of your effort will end up meaning nothing because some ******* grad students decide to be stricter than all hell while grading your assignments? I don't know if i can do this any more.

I am wanting to setup a Scholarship program in the school in which I graduated from. It would just be for that school and that school only, and it would be based on need. It would be a one time thing, where the most qualified person received the scholarship. Can anyone help me?

I took a college course in recreation and I can't seem to find a job that pays well, plus I live in a small town where there are no jobs available. Will moving away from a small town and also getting a degree help me find a decent paying job? My advisor thinks it's a good idea to do so. It will cost a lot of money to go to university and that worries me.

I live in San Bernardino California and I will be graudating high school next year and I'm interested in a career as a Physician Assistant. I currently take both high school and college classes at San Bernardino Valley College and I was planning to transfer to UCLA or UCR. However I have been looking at programs, for PA and I found a couple at UCLA, UCR, and even Riverside Community College. They all take the same courses and do the same thing except UCLA and UCR are much more expensive then RCC and offer BA and MA's. RCC only offers the AA and the certificate. Is that still good. I mean it's cheaper and it's the same time and closer to home. I have no idea what I should do. Can I still work as a PA with only an AA in Physician Assistant? What would you do in this situatation?

if not then tell me the names of Ivy superior institutions in California if any, and whAT'S so special with Brown thats not found in CSU or VA-Tech[quality wise].... please.........

if Ivys are exclusivelly reserved for orange county kids, with well to do backgrounds, how can they be consistently among the first ranking nation wide, when it comes to quality of graduates output? plus if you have spent time as an alumni there chances are you going to end up landing the best jobs.or win a nobel prize, be a speker of the house, a senator or even become president of the USA.
i just dont understand some facts dont check, normaly rich kids dont enjoy HARD work,
who's giving these schools such stellar performances and all those prizes and acalades....?

If so, was it a rewarding experience? how did it make you feel?

I have the worst case of senioritis known to man. There's a possibility that I may receive some C's and possibly D's. I'm not exactly sure how it's going to turn out yet. I was accepted to UW-Madison. How badly would I have to do to get my admission revoked?
