i just dont understand some facts dont check, normaly rich kids dont enjoy HARD work,
who's giving these schools such stellar performances and all those prizes and acalades....?

The Ivy League is a sports conference made up of eight prestigious private universities that are all located in the East Coast. They are:

Harvard University (Cambridge, MA)
Columbia University (New York, NY)
Brown University (Providence, RI)
Dartmouth University (Hanover, NH)
University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, PA)
Cornell University (Ithica, NY)
Yale University (New Haven, CT)
Princeton University (Princeton, NJ).

All of these schools are highly selective with faculty known for their research.

There are no Ivy League schools in California. The most prestigious school in California is Stanford -- which many consider to be comparable to the Ivies. Other schools in the same category include University of Chicago, Northwestern and Duke.

UCLA and the other UC schools (especially Berkeley) are all highly regarded public universities. They are considered among the best public universities in the US. They are highly selective and are known for hiring great faculty who excell at research.

The CSU schools are not very selective and do not hire top researchers for their faculty. They are not very highly regarded.

They are both considered to be IVY schools. Sometimes, I really don't understand why those IVY school so special. Yes, true... They do get you some better job. However, many rich people, they just bought off the degree, and don't really put too much work into it to earn the degree.
