I spent this last semester busting my *** trying to get good grades. Up until about 2 weeks ago i looking at getting a 3.75. Then, in each of my classes i had one final assignment and for each one i got my *** kicked. Now i am looking at a 2.5 with one F. What is the ******* point of trying if all of your effort will end up meaning nothing because some ******* grad students decide to be stricter than all hell while grading your assignments? I don't know if i can do this any more.

What is the point of investing all this time and enegry trying to do well if the people who are supposed to be teaching you seem more interested in abusing their power?

I was trying to get into grad school but i don't think it is even possible any more. Everything i worked for was destroyed by some cocky grad students. I am in shock right now. I can not believe it.

Buck up. You still have a pretty good GPA, I trust. Next semester, you'll be more prepared for this kind of treatment, so you'll stand up against the odds. All you can do is try your hardest, and eventually, you'll get rewarded for it. At least, that's what everyone in college keeps telling themselves.

If you messed up in all your classes, then it is pretty unlikely that it was the TA's fault! You apparently missed the point on what you were supposed to doing.
Unlike high school where the teachers hand out A's like water just because someone showed 'effort' in college you actually have to produce a good end result. No one cares how hard you worked, all that counts is whether the end result is good.
If you have what it takes, you will do over the assignments in excruciating detail and try to understand exactly WHY they marked them down. There probably are some comments. If no comments, then try going in to see the graders and see if you can get some insight into WHY they marked you down. It is not their fault if you did a p*ss poor job. Their responsibility is to grade bad work with a bad mark.

focus on the end -the degree - grades don't really in the end mean much - unless your looking at grad school - develop a strategy for the next semester- but also see if there is an appeal process - or talked to the professor - and get clear feedback about the weakness of your assignment - what where the discrepancies between the assignment instructions/syllabus and what you presented - you might be able get a few points that may minimize the damage done to your GPA - keep objective throughout the process -

don't quit! if you've been doing well up until this point, try talking to the GA's that graded your papers. ask them where they are coming from, and then argue your point to get the better grade. alot of grading is subjective (as in your point about grad students being stricter) but a lot of times you can argue a better grade if you can support your work.

Try try, don't cry. Remember, for success to be yours one day you have to go through a lot of ups and downs. Cheer up, this is not the end but the beginning of your successful life.
